Роль хламидий в этиологии воспалительных заболеваний органов малого таза

Цель исследования. Анализ результатов Международного конгресса, посвященного хламидийной инфекции с одновременным анализом научной литературы по теме.
Материал и методы. Доклады 8-го Конгресса Европейского общества по исследованию хламидий и данные исследований, найденных в международных базах по данной теме.
Результаты. Молекулярная биология, геномика хламидий, диагностика и иммунология хламидийной инфекции, а также эффективность антибиотикотерапии были основными вопросами, рассматриваемыми на конгрессе.
Заключение. Обоснована эффективность азитромицина в лечении хламидийной инфекции и приверженность пациентов этому виду терапии.
